Help begins with your first call to Bluegrass Behavioral Services for Children. One of our clinicians will talk to you about your concerns and explain our assessment process. Each family presents with unique problems and concerns.

Mental health issues in children can be caused by environment, genetics, and trauma and cause a great deal of difficulty in the learning environment. As the number of children dealing with these difficulties pour into our schools, the education system may struggle to keep up and ensure that the needs of these students are met.
